Cebu City is known to be one of the most visited cities in the philippines for it has many lovely places to view. We been in that city for a primary purpose which is to have our final medical at Cebu Doctors' Hospital for the completion of requirements applied as permanent residents of this city and at the same time taking the opportunity to see the place because I've heard from some people who had been there and they liked the city. Cebu Doctors' Hospital was at that time having its new extension building where the clinic of our certified medical practitioner was in. It was beautiful, big, clean and with all its new facilities ang high technologies/apparatus. After the laboratory tests made in us, we went to SM Mall for my children are eager to see that place. Yes, it was big, air-conditioned and had a lot of stuffs sold. My kids had so much fun spending the rest of the afternoon in the said mall, viewing and buying few stuffs. In the afternoon of the next day, our next appointment was at the Soccur Hospital (not quite sure of the name) to have our physical and mental exam to complete all the tests and in there we got to see our medical practitioner. Again, it was an awesome hospital too and our physician was kind and good. The rest of the days of our stay, while waiting for any further test and initial results, were spent again in another mall, the lovely Ayala Center for its gorgeous landscape. In there, we saw lots of foreigners taking their drinks at the coffee shops, eating in an elegant restaurants. We had so much fun and we stop for a longer time at the Ayala Department Store viewing and buying again some stuffs to be used in going here and as "pasalubong" for the families way back home. As we rode in a taxi, we could see several tall buildings, hotels, many establishments and so many public utilized vehicles. The staff of the pension house where we stayed told us that we could also go to the so called place "Colon". At first, because of our unfamiliarity of the place, we took the taxi. Reaching the place, I've noticed that there were jeepneys whose routes will be passing the nearby highway of the pension house we stayed, so what comes to my mind was to take in one of them in going home. The place was indeed so busy and quite crowded for it was full of establishments built side by side. There were lots of items sold for every store, almost all the things you want to look for are in that place. I guess, it seems to be a one stop-shop place. However, one thing we didn't appreciate there was the improper waste disposals of some people that made some parts unclean, and so my son didn't want it and made him not wanting to go back there. But me and my daughter however didn't mind that at all and so the next day we went back because the stuffs are quite cheaper compared from the malls. Even if we had just stayed in Cebu City for a short period of time about 5 days, but then I could say, our stay or short vacation there was indeed awesome for we love the place and we plan to go back there someday to see other beautiful/ historical places like the old church , the Taoist Temple and others.
It's quite a lovely city, indeed! What a good start! Keep going!
